Be the best version of yourself
Yes, we love things to be the way they are and how they are not. Not because they are good for us but because we resist change. We also hate the cognitive overload which comes with change. So we prefer underutilisation of our potential over action. But, unfortunately, when it comes to fitness and health, this inaction turns into a vicious circle as l action of mindful action to improve fitness makes or keeps us unfit, further stopping us from correcting this never-ending downward loop.
A week ago, when the representative from 1 mg was at home for my mother's routine blood check-up, he mentioned an offer, a blood check-up of vitamin and mineral levels in my body. I just casually said yes, let us do it. The two deficiencies, some of you may say, it's widespread, were vitamin D and B12. So I started a few supplements to compensate for these. And, surprise, I already can see the difference in my energy levels in a few days. So we ignore some obvious things and then put massive effort into working on other associated things without dealing with the root cause. Take small steps; it's OK if it's a slight improvement, but try to be the best version of yourself every day.
